Spring Grove Paparazzi's Phoenix

Phoenix is a really cool guy with endless potential. He is out of Hollywood's Hilltop's Paparazzi, a banner and blue ribbon winning, super fine cria producing harlequin, so Phoenix carries some super nice and fun lines. When Phoenix was a born he came out with dark and piercing grey eyes which were a little unexpected against his light color. He was whiteish but had a red tint to him and a cute redish snout. We were absolutely convinced he would be rose grey but he didn't quite make the full transition. So, when we showed his first fleece as white, it got moved into the indefinite class since his primaries are so dark.
We absolutely do not believe in calling an animal a color it isn't to make it sound better or more appealing but one thing I do know is Phoenix is something pretty cool and we cannot wait to see what he does as a herd sire for our farm.
So, enough about his crazy color, let's talk about his fleece. When we opened his fleece as a cria here and there before he had ever been shorn we were definitely taken aback. His fiber was more incredible than we had realized. Once we had shorn him and spread out his fleece the handle of his fleece was unbelievable! He is super dense, fine, crimpy and bright! When it's cutside up and you run your hand over it, its such an unreal feeling!
